BIKE, MARTA, CAR SERVICE
Colony Square has a beautiful plaza area right on Peachtree Street between 14th Street and 15th Street. This quick video shows how to get from the plaza, famous for its giant MIDTOWN letters, to the white spiral staircase that will take you directly to the entrance of Summer ICE. This route is useful for attendees who walk, bike, take MARTA, or take a car service (like Lyft) to the event.
We will host our food vendors (all weekend) and the #weloveatl truck (Saturday only) on this plaza! Plus those adirondack chairs are a great place to hang out and people watch, and no visit to the plaza would be complete without a selfie by the MIDTOWN letters!!

Summer ICE will mostly take place in the upper plaza area overlooking the plaza on Peachtree Street, with the Tiny Doors ATL's Tiny Living Garden Workshop taking place in a little garden nook on the upper plaza and the main event (90+ craft & vintage vendors plus DJ Zano!!!) taking place in the indoor event space overlooking the Peachtree Street plaza. The main entrance to Summer ICE is on the upper plaza, where we will be distributing 250 cotton swag bags each morning, designed by Black Cat Tips and Tiny Doors ATL. Our swag bags are usually gone within the first 10-15 minutes of the event, and our attendees line up for them! This quick video shows an overview of the upper plaza and the best route to walk from the top of the escalators, which connects to the parking deck, to the entrance of Summer ICE. The white spiral staircase at the end of the video will take you down to the plaza with food vendors and the giant MIDTOWN letters, or take the escalator to the mall level and take an immediate right to the glass doors to exit onto the plaza.

Getting to Summer ICE 2017
Colony Square, 1197 Peachtree Street NE - Atlanta, GA 30361
Indoor Upper Plaza Building
Colony Square has several bike rack areas, including Cycle Bike Valet. The bike valet is not the closest bike rack to Summer ICE, but it will be monitored by security. Cycle Bike Valet is located on 14th Street by the intersection of Juniper Street underneath Establishment restaurant. Once you have secured your bike, head to your right walking the perimeter of the complex. From 14th Street, you’ll turn right onto Peachtree Street then walk towards 15th Street past the Colony Square office tower with SunTrust and Tamarind Seed and then another office tower with a WebMD sign, a Chick-fil-A and a Starbucks. At Starbucks you’ll turn right into the plaza. You will see giant MIDTOWN letters and a grassy plaza. Once you’ve turned right into the plaza area walk towards the white spiral staircase. The entrance to Summer ICE is at the top of the spiral staircase.
Take MARTA to the Arts Center Station, which is located on the Red/Gold (North-South) Line. If you are on another line, take MARTA to the Five Points Station and switch trains to the Red/Gold Line going north. Arts Center Station is five stops north of Five Points (map here).
Exit the MARTA station by taking the escalators all the way to the top following signs to Peachtree Street and Arts Center Way. Once you exit the station you are on Arts Center Way and you should turn right, and walk one block to the stop sign. Turn left onto 15th Street. At the next intersection, you’ll cross over Peachtree Street, turn right, and you’ll see the giant MIDTOWN letters and a grassy plaza. Turn left into the plaza area, towards the white spiral staircase. The entrance to Summer ICE is at the top of the spiral staircase.
Car Service (Lyft/Uber) -
The best location for a car service drop-off/pick-up is in the driveway in front of 5 Church restaurant on Peachtree Street between 14th and 15th Streets. From here, you will walk towards 15th Street past the Colony Square office tower with a WebMD sign, a Chick-fil-A and a Starbucks. At Starbucks you’ll turn right into the plaza. You will see giant MIDTOWN letters and a grassy plaza. Once you’ve turned right into the plaza area walk towards the white spiral staircase. The entrance to Summer ICE is at the top of the spiral staircase.
Summer ICE attendees will receive a special $8 ALL day parking rate in the Colony Square parking deck. (This is a very good rate for this neighborhood!) In order to receive this rate, you MUST get a parking coupon from us at our welcome table. The Colony Square parking deck entrances are located on 14th Street, Peachtree Street and 15th Street. Look for signs for Colony Square public parking. Once you park, take the escalator all the way to the very top. You'll exit through the glass doors, and will walk a few yards across a plaza to our entrance.
In addition to the parking deck at Colony Square, there are some on-street parking spaces (make sure to pay the meter; most cost approximately $2/hour) and a few other parking decks.
Once you have parked in the Colony Square parking deck (see section above called "Car"), follow signs to elevator access located in the parking garage. In the elevator, press the “M” button to the Mall Level. Once you have arrived in the mall level, signage will be placed guiding you to the elevator that will take you to the Upper Plaza level (event access). When you have entered into the second elevator, press the “P” button for Plaza.
If arriving by some other transportation besides a car, follow the directions above for how to get to the plaza. Once you get to the plaza, you will look for the elevator to the Upper Plaza level (event access), which is located below the murals in this photo. When you have entered into this elevator, press the “P” button for Plaza.
